Spider-Man: Far From Home 1/6th scale Mysterio Figure From Hot Toys

Jay Cochran - September 06, 2019
Quentin Beck, a gifted but under-appreciated special effects artist. Chose to focus his skills on becoming Mysterio as the number one super hero in the world, and supplant himself over Iron Man. Coupled with his talent for chemistry, robotics and hypnotism, Mysterioís convincing illusions on The Elementals blurred the line between reality and fantasy, to the point where the work seems almost supernatural in nature.

Today, Hot Toys is pleased to officially introduce the highly-anticipated 1/6th scale Mysterio collectible figure from Spider-Man: Far From Home with highly-detailed gadgets that specifically counter Spider-Manís abilities!

Masterfully crafted based on Mysterioís appearance in the movie, the collectible figure features a newly developed helmeted head with incredible likeness, finely tailored cape and armors with luminous reflective elements, a pair of illusion effect accessories, smoke effect diorama accessories, and a movie-themed dynamic figure stand.

I think that only looks like Gyllenhaal from the more extreme angles, but whatever.

This is looking really nice. Now it's Hasbro's turn to make an updated Mysterio with a Gyllenhaal headsculpt and some illusion effects.

Is there some sort of licensing thing with Sony not securing the rights to the faces of their villain actors for some reason? Because none of the Vulture toys had an unmasked Michael Keaton head either.

Either way, this looks spectacular. The dome is awesome.

The fish bowl is stunning.

i really like how the orb captures the cosmic space look instead of just smoke in a fishbowl

I love the magic effects! Really wish the ML one included something like that. Also, no unhelmeted head? Curious.
