Its not as "cartoony" as the movie (compared to the rest of the Marvel Legends) but it still looks great, fits with the Legends line and also invokes the movie. There's a really nice paint colour choice on this one, and the pinless tech really makes the figure.
Yeah this is a nice figure IMO, I think it's colors really pop, and it has the ability to display as a comic figure, I didn't want any of those Movie figs, I bought this to be my Ulimate Prowler stand in and removed the Cape, it's doing the trick.

I wish someone would take a shot of him without the Cape, I don't like the cape, I plan on removing it. I'd like to see how that looks though.
Looks really cool, definitely a must get for me.
Though I wish they made the point on his cape a slightly different colour to his mask. In some shots it looks like he has a pointy head
Agree that the standard Legend bodies were the way to go. Th animated style was nice for the kid friendly toys but if Hasbro had gone that route with these they would have stood out like a sore thumb in collections.. as they are, with their masks on, they really fit in nicely.
May have to rethink this wave..
That looks really good. Good example of how the right new parts can go a long way to disguising a reused body.
Actually looks a lot better than I expected. I love that they didn't use thefreaking Sunfire mold again. I was beginning to think they'd forgotten the Spider UK mold was even an option anymore. Also, aside from the way the arms don't fit flat to the body is the way he seems to be permanently looking upward. Hopefully it's just a trick of the eyes because of the scarf, but I suspect not.
Overall I think this is the sleeper of the wave that no one was expecting.
Initially was gonna pass on this guy, but I think using the more standard Hasbro figure instead of the animated style was a good idea. The pinless tech use was a great idea too, but you can definitely see that the arms don't go down the way they should, and frankly they look longer on the body than they should. But I do like those gauntlets and its overall a nice variant to the original.
