Someone wake me up when they do this guy.
Looks nice, but I would still prefer a proper US Agent
This figure is so awesome. And one of the easiest Walmart exclusives Ive ever gotten. Cant believe Wally didnt find a way to screw it up.
In the show Walker was very polarizing. Just like he was back in the comics when he debuted as Super Patriot, his transition from antagonist to Cap replacement divided fans.
In the comics, Walkers never quit attitude won many over despite his many character flaws. But he was given nearly two years to develop. In Falcon and Winter Soldier his arc was truncated to the point where his fall and redemption meant very little.
As weird as it was to see someone else in the Cap role, Wyatt Russell did exactly what Walker was supposed to do. Ruffle feathers and show that John Walker was no Steve Rogers. To make the shock of a replacement Cap mean anything they should have made Walker stay in the role for 2 or 3 seasons ( hey 6 episodes a season isnt too long) and have his rise, fall and redemption play out over a longer period. Then when he steps down and Sam takes over it wouldnt have felt as rushed.
Anyway, Walker Cap is one of Hasbros best. Makes their first US Agent look so bad in comparison. Hopefully an apology Agent wont be too far away
An ok figure for an ok character, but the US Agent was a total miss, I hope to see the shield with the black/white/red/black paint job like in the comics...
That US Agent is awesome the figure really comes to life with the correct paintjob. I'll also add that if they ever make another Steve Rogers Cap, he just has to be taller, the worthy cap and every other basically is just tooo short. I like what I'm seeing with Walker size-wise.
I like the way the US Agent figure looks with the shield. I just wish Hasbro had given him an unpaintedbare metal shield like the comics. I know he didn't have it in the show but I'm hoping he does eventually get one. Maybe they'll do it when they get around to updating the comic version. It was a lot cooler than his black and red one.
