Well, for this wave I only plan to get Sylvie and Captain Carter. The Hydra Stomper was an impulse buy.

What they need to do is a box set of figures for every Stan Lee cameo ever done from the MCU. Overprice it for a Haslab project, and the first tier is a Jack Kirby head, the second will be Steve Ditko's head...

Ha. Good call.

Seems like the show's designers were going for a kind of bland, stale, 1950s-1970s flavor if you will, and if so, they succeeded. I'm not hating on the figures because they look as they were intended to. Kudos. But outside of crowd filling fodder, these don't appeal to me.

Agree the chosen figures from the Loki series are an odd set. Two bland guys in suits and a barely super hero-y lady that kinda sorta resembles Loki from an over 10 year old ( Albeit very influential) movie.

show accurate? Yes.exciting..hmmmm.

I swear, in recent times weve gotten: Happy, Mobius, Loki in suit, Marvels Katy, Obadiah, young Nick Fury, Peggy Carter, then add in the entire actor in bath robes wave of Eternals and on paper Marvel Legends is a pretty boring action figure line.

That being said, what a time we are in where the MCU has reached the status of background alien #7 gets an action figure that Star Wars has achieved

Do you not like the Marvel Select version? It's the one that I use. It's still cheaper and easier to get on ebay than building this one if you weren't otherwise going to be buying the whole wave. I think that it's being re-released as well.

Misc. Marvel figures: MS Watcher, SMC Howling Manwolf & Electric Power Dr. Doom

Yup, getting a re-released later this year or early next year. Last I saw DORKSIDE toys still has it available.

This is my go to version since this What If? version isnt the classic version. Im not to concerned about Selects limited articulation as the Watcher pretty much just stands around and you know.. watches..

So.... depending on you tastes, their are two versions available: the What If? BAF or Select

I like the classic design of the Watcher, but I will settle for this one since its pretty much impossible to get the other in a toy form...unless someone knows something about that ???

As has been mentioned before, the Legends team is celebrating the anniversary of the Fantastic Four. Psycho-Man, High Evolutionary, Nova, Galactus, and they've told us there's more to follow. I myself have posted numerous times about the wealth of material that can be taken from their universe and used for action figures. Different costumes, friends, foes, equipment, even vehicles...the FF have got it all. There's nothing wrong in getting the cartoon version, do it. But I'd say now more than ever, we have a good chance at getting a classic Watcher by next year.

Im sorrybut the strange and watcher from this wave are bad. Strange looks like he has been on a weeks long bender with no sleep. I havent seen the show yet (although Im going to check it out) but if that is the look they were going for then they killed it. And the watcher looks like someone with a big head whom has been starved to death. No chance Im picking those up. Sad since Ive been wanting a watcher for many years.

captain carter looks really good though.

I never planned to get the Hydra Stomper cause of the price increase across the board. However, when I saw it, I broke down and got it. It's a very heavy figure. I almost dropped the box when I picked it up not realizing how heavy it would be. Here's a picture of him with my Captain Carter and a custom.
