Never a connection but it seems like when one company releases a figure another does their version soon after. Jokingly hope this is the case again because I never got my hands on either releases of Legends Scarlet Spider.

While off-center smaller spider logo is not inaccurate it's the bigger logo that I and (very likely) most fans would prefer. And tbh I think Legends one looks better.

He sometimes wore the hood up in Peter David's modern run of the character, like MODADDYDODOK pointed out, when he was living in Las Vegas. It's in this run that his emblem was also smaller and to the left:

Looks like they are some modern takes of the character.

That's a really cool selection of heads. Not a fan of the soft-goods hoodie, though. That being said, it looks pretty good for a soft-goods piece of clothing. Maybe it's because it has no sleeves, those are usually the parts that look the most awkward.
