Would be great if Mystique is on this Phoenix body, clothing wrinkles should look really nice on white and extra articulation would really benefit Raven. As for Dark Ms. Marvel easiest choice would be to reuse updated Moonstone since it's same character and that semi updated body has great muscular arms but pinned legs which generally isn't real issue but it really bothers me when there's visible pins on skin tone, if only Hasbro fully updated Moonstone buck with with pinless legs, ab crunch and butterflies instead of giving us two identical sized super articulated torsos...

Wow good catch. I initially thought they were identical but with different legs but it's clear there are some differences in the torso as well. Jean seems to be a bit wider in the shoulders and possibly a bit more chesty TBH and a tad bit taller. It almost looks like they should have switched the bodies with the characters. But then Jean would have had the more muscular looking legs. These things are just a mess all around. And again they are just undersized to scale properly with every other female figure they've ever made. And I know not everyone is the same size. Believe me I encounter it every day of my life in my business but Carol is clearly supposed to be larger and more muscular than Jean and taller. And yes it makes you wonder how much time, money and effort it cost to do these two models only to have them still be wrong in the end. I'll never not give credit to Hasbro for trying to progress and improvise but I won't hesitate to call out when they do it wrong and this is just wrong. I'm just so glad neither one of these figures are of characters I don't already have good figures of. The Target Exclusive Warbird is on the perfect mold with a face different but equally beautiful and as I've said elsewhere the TRU Exclusive Phoenix is better in every way over this one. Save for single jointed elbows on both the latter figures but neither one of them is supposed to be particularly agile otherwise. Again, good for those who missed the previous figures but I'm good. Now I just wait around until they really catch me with something I need like an updated Mystique or Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel. Then we'll get to see what my resolve really is.
Yeah still not sold on the faces or paying Deluxe money for a figure stand

I love how they pose in the worst posible way the previous version.
Yeah I'm so on the fence with this figure, it's better than the last Green Phoenix obviously, but the faces, the sorta normal one where she's kinda smiley? why? and for some reason the amount of Eyeliner and Eye Shadow is weird, also the alt white eye head has a a oddness too it.
It's a way better figure then the last one, but I also don't care that much since the older one I put a redhead stepford cuckoo head on it years ago and feel it's pretty rad, and I have the Dark Phoenix. Do I need this one? I actually could care less about the Phoenix Force Base...so I'm so not sure.
They stink at making fire. Seems to always look like darkened red or orange liquid. It should already look like this without having to light it up.
I'm excited about this figure mainly for the firebird. I don't really care for either of the heads so she will be getting a new one.

Wheeeeeew! That Toybiz Phoenix is funky isn't it? LOL. This is a great review. Leaves no question whatsoever that this Phoenix was totally unnecessary. The one from the TRU two pack is still head and shoulders above any of these and the Retro Card version will suffice if you don't want to pay double for what you paid for that one. This uses the exact undersized model they used for Warbird. Just as I suspected. Aside from the thigh cuts which are lower on WB as to not fall right in the middle of the bare thigh. Credit to Hasbro for that little detail. That's something I never would have expected from them. Otherwise this is an utter disappointment. Again I love the abs and legs but what a waste of effort for a mold that is more suited for a teen model rather than the adult female that it will undoubtedly mostly be used for. Make a Majik from this model or Kitty or X-23 then you got me. But then wow what is up with that head sculpt? Move over Retro Card Sue Storm we've got a new challenger. In the day of photo real mapping and facial printing and so many awesome head sculpts this is what poor Jean gets? It's not quite as tiny as the Warbird head sculpt but man this one is rough. Between this little treasure and the head sculpt from the Juggernaut wave Jean in kind of makes one wonder what Wolvie and Scott have been fighting over all these years. JK. But not really. Total fumble. Total flub. Nice body mold but totally wrong. The Phoenix background stand is not worth the price. Thanks @MCUcollector24. Saved me some cash.
Right now for me it's between this and the Crystal/Lockjaw combo for my favorite figure of the year. I'll have to actually have them in hand to decide though, of course.
