This is just silly. While I think this figure and the entire concept of Hellverine itself is on it's face ridiculous I do love that Daken or Akahiro or whatever is back in the comics. In the good old times this would have been Hasbro's chance to jump in and give us a new Daken figure with swappable parts to make Hellverine. But those days are gone. These days they'll be looking to double dip and make separate figures. Or worse yet do a Hellverine figure with Daken swap parts and call it a deluxe and charge $50 for it. Either way is equally bad. They do have different costumes though so I guess the smart bet would be on separate figures.

I hate that I like this figure so much, I would have been so happy to pass on another Wolvie I don't need, since I own so many I don't want, but like the Brood Wolverine, ugh I like this so much, it's just so cool, I wanted to not want it but I want it, It's going to go nicely beside my Iron Ghost Kitbash figure.
