Benicio Del Toro 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Role Revealed?

It was reported the other day that actor Benicio Del Toro had been signed on for a top-secret role in Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy which included options that put him into multiple marvel movies like we have seen with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury character.

Well now a "So called" reliable source is telling CBM that the role Del Toro will be playing is that of The Collector who in the comics is a cosmic being and one of the Elders of the Universe. His thing if you couldn't guess is that he collects things.

Obviously I would take this as pure rumor at this point until we get a more official confirmation of some type but if true then it's a good bet that The Collector will be playing some kind of long term Marvel Cinematic role which will likely come to a climax in Avengers 2.
