Robert Downey Jr.: 'Captain America 3' Is 'Gonna Be Huge'

Outsiders - October 20, 2014

Past few weeks, we have been hearing this and hearing that about what will happen with the Tony Stark/Iron Man character. Today, Robert Downey Jr. wasn't confirming or denying the rumors but did tell Yahoo! that Tony Stark is due to play a key role in 'Captain America 3' and the film is "gonna be huge."

Rumors suggest Tony Stark would be an antagonist of sorts in 'Captain America 3' and a line would be drawn between him and Captain America. This would be the first step of a larger Marvel Cinematic Universe plot known as Civil War. Civil War, which is based on a famous comic arc, would see the Avengers torn down the middle as they feud over the Superhero Registration Act, a piece of government legislation that requires all super-powered beings to report to the government and act as a “police force for the authorities”.
