Margarita Levieva & Sandrine Holt Join Disney+ Series Daredevil: Born Again

I can definitely seeMargarita Levieva as Typhoid Mary; she did a killer job as Gina Zanetakos, corporate terrorist and assassin on the Blacklist. She also recently starred on her own spy series, In From the Cold on Netflix. Sandrine Holt I'm thinking would be too old to play Elektra, but she could play Kingpin's wife Vanessa (though it would be an awful blow because Ayelet Zurer was perfect in that role). Holt would also be great as some rival attorney/crusading DA against Daredevil.

I sincerely hope D+ has the sense to get Deborah Woll and Ayelet back. Daredevil was the crown jewel of the Marvel Netflix 'verse and they were a part of what made DD so great.

Yeah, but that's Disney. Cast these little to no exposure actors under a budget and hope they can do a good (enough) job. From a company that hires their writers and directors with a dartboard and a list of no names with a few short films, some college art productions and maybe a few low budget indie projects under their wing, should we expect anything else?

After a brief search I could see either or both of these women being cast as Elektra or Karen or even Typhoid, seeing as how Elodie Yung and Deborah Anne Woll both seem to have other things going. Margarita bares a striking resemblance to Jennifer Garner and is fairly athletic looking, but she does have the lighter hair. I suppose, whether it's natural or not, It's nothing a little hair dye can't handle. Sandrine has the dark hair and that exotic look, but she's quite waifish and she was none too convincing as a "tough guy" in anything I've seen her in. It would be a shame if Woll did not return as she was stunning as Karen in the Netflix series, but I can understand a need to change pace as it looks like they plan to make it more of a Superhero production rather than the dark soap opera the original was, which would be a complete one-eighty from the deuce that Moon Knight was, which I'm all for. Also, it was largely felt that Elodie was miscast as Elektra from the start so I don't suppose there would be much push back to replace her. Whatever they do I hope they've learned from their past mistakes like Moon Knight and She-Hulk and do it right, but they probably won't.

Hope Karen and Foggy actors come back for this too.
