So, I watched the movie today. Actually thought it was better than I expected. It had a little flavor to it. The end credit scene showed some promise also. As for the blue ray venom figure, it reminds me of the super hero movie stuff we used to get at mcDonalds or burger king in a happy meal.
Back in September Dwight said Hasbro would be open to doing some Marvel Legends figures for the movie if it were a hit.

I think it's possible we'll see a movie Venom figure with some actual effort put into it next year.
