Marvel Legends Wave 3 Brood Series Loose & Carded Fan Gallery

Ryno - October 12, 2007
Marvelous News forum member Kidult has sent us these images of Hasbro's Marvel Legends Wave 3 - The Bood Series found over in China. Included in this wave are Cyclops, Captain America, Bucky, Marvel Girl (Rachel Grey), The Black Knight, Hydra Agent, X3 Colossus and Danger. Each figure will come with a piece to build a Brood Queen figure. Thanks again to Kidult for the use of the images. Look for these figure to be released in the United States sometime this month. There have already been many reports on the forums here that hasbrotoyshop.com has shown them in stock off and on, so keep checking. All orders have shown a 10/24/07 shipping date.

I wanted the Hydra Soldier, but his legs look like sausage links tied together... where is his knee?

I think the Namor figure from the FF line stole the knee and added it to his own.

Or Hasbro heard all the complaints about sucky knee joints and figured we couldn't be mad about the knee if it wasnt there.

This is a surprise for me! They look much better now... I won't buy any of them though beacuse I don't really like the characters, and I can only afford to buy those, who I really like. But they don't look that bad for me anyomre.

meh... nothing for me here.

I might grab Cyclops and Black Knight when they go on clearance eventually.

Based on these, I reckon the rankings for the following:

1. World War II Captain America- must have especially for kids

2. Black Knight - must have especially for collectors

3. X3 Colossus - he is huge and massive

4. Bucky - underrated, but you still NEED the boywonder to go with your cap diorama.

5. AXM Cyclops - still an X-Men always an X-Men.

6. Marvel Girl - I thought she was Jean Grey no she is Rachel Summers her daughter. Man you're getting old.

7. Hydra soldier - think about it the cost to build an army is too high. It is a way for Hasbro to make you believe in building an army. Since they would release the two packs later. Wait it to go on sale then build your army. 10 armies x 10 dollars = 100 dollars. Not worth it.

8. Danger - is she the robot girl from Magnus the Robot Fighter oops wrong universe.

Black Knight is the new best Hasbro Marvel Legend to date! He beats out Doom due to the fact he has several different colors in his costume. That almost makes it work without a paint wash compared to doom's all same tone green getup. It's nice not to get just a almost single colored figure for once! FA Cap is also awesome, great job done! He looks straight out of 1941. The rest are all ok. That tiny brood is tied with sandman for worst BAF ever!

since hasbro had the 25% off & free shipping, i ordered a black knight so now i have my 1st hasbro figure. those pics don't look too bad except for bucky & collossus, the rest look okay.

What 25% off and free shipping? I do not see that on their site?

i want the black knight he looks to be the best, i'm still on the fence about rachel grey but i'll probably still get her i think cyclops or danger will be the peg warmer

great i probally get these before i get my FF. so what am i complaining bout?

Marvel Girl - ten time better then the twin pack. i know it the same body and all but some how it seem better

Cyclops- i like it i don't know why but i like it.

Captain America- it's nice that hasbro are using the ult base for this. i also love that they used the triangular sheild for this as it would really be a big mistake if they didn't

Bucky- even though i jump to hasbro defence alot i have to admit they ruined this.

Hydra- not the best but at least we got him. i'm not a army builder but with this and the variant they will go well with my Baron Strucker.

Black Knight- it is my favourite of the entire series. im a major avengers fan (which is why i'll be puting Ronan with my Avengers display) and want this guy for ages.

Colossus- i like it. bad selection but i like it.

Danger- the detail on this girl is extreme. i don't know why people don't like her, expect her being too new a character to be made. if they made Cerebro sentinel form they could be a brother and sister pair.

Brood Queen- it surpisingly big. i love the size of the talons. i think people will change their mind bout it once they actually see her.
