After his blockbuster movie sequel in 2007, Marvel’s ever popular wall-crawling, web-spinning Super Hero is back in full swing this year, serving as the inspiration behind a web of new Hasbro Spider-Man toys, including a line based on the new animated TV series, “The Spectacular Spider-Man.”
The crown jewel of Hasbro’s 2008 Spider-Man lineup includes the first-ever Spider-Man toy that actually scales walls! For kids wanting to join Spidey in his crime-fighting escapades, Hasbro offers the SPINNING WEB BLASTER. And action figures featuring characters from The Spectacular Spider-Man join new offerings of action figure heroes and villains from the entire Spider-Man universe.
REMOTE CONTROL WALLCRAWLER SPIDER-MAN
(Approximate Retail Price: $49.99; Ages: 5+; Available: Fall 2008)
Everyone knows that Spider-Man scales Manhattan skyscrapers, but does he ever take his skills indoors? This fall, Spider-Man will scale bedroom and family room walls everywhere with the REMOTE CONTROL WALLCRAWLER, a remote controlled toy Spider-Man with amazing motorized vacuum-pump technology that allows Spidey to literally crawl up and down walls! An infrared controller that attaches to the wrist allows kids (and adults!) to control the wall-crawlin’ fun!
SPINNING WEB BLASTER
(Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Ages 5+; Available: Spring 2008)
New to the line of popular web blasters introduced in 2007, the SPINNING WEB BLASTER comes with everything kids need to be like the web-slinger himself! The set comes with a Spider-
Man mask and a blaster with two ways to play – kids can choose to spray their nemesis using either web fluid or water. Includes 1 can of web fluid plus a water canister. Refill canisters are also available.
SPIDER-MAN MOVIE ACTION FIGURES
(Approximate Retail Price: $9.99; Ages: 4+; Available: Spring 2008)
Now kids and collectors can pit Black-Suited Spider-Man from Spider-Man 3 against Puma, Carnage and a number of the other most infamous villains from the history of the Spider-Man saga. SPIDER-MAN MOVIE ACTION FIGURES, which include a variety of the greatest Spider-Man characters of all time, are specially designed 6-inch figures that each include fun feature play. In all, 16 villains are available in 2008, along with an impressive 24 heroes.

who are the real figures? those crappy ones or the others they showed some time ago? i hope that the villains will look like the comic versions and not based on stupid movie figs that dont exist. i love movie figs when they are based on actual movie characters. first i wanna see comic version and then they can reimagine what ever they want. |

10 bucks for the Spectacular Spider-Man toys seems really expensive, especially since they're marketing these things towards kids. I mean, I already feel guilty spending 10 bucks each on a Marvel Legend figure - how are little kids with no income gonna get more than like two figures. |

this line is starting to get more interesting... i'm planning to get the spideys... if the villains are good, and if they somehow resemble their comics counterparts, then i might get some too... the black spidey has really caught my eyes, i hope the other figs would impress me too.. |
