2011 SDCC Marvel Legends Heroic Age Thor Revealed (Updated With Price)
Marvel: Jay Cochran on 2011-07-15

UPDATE: Hasbro has just released this official description for the upcoming SDCC Exclusive Heroic Age 6" Thor.

MARVEL LEGENDS THOR SPECIAL EDITION FIGURE
(Ages: 4 & up; Approximate Retail Price: $24.99 each)
Celebrate the return of the fan-favorite MARVEL LEGENDS toy line in 2012 with this limited-edition preview figure. THOR, the mighty AVENGER is featured in his latest comics-accurate costume in the classic 6-inch MARVEL LEGENDS scale, and in a premium package shaped like his hammer, MJOLNIR.

Though it was looking more and more like this bad boy was going to be canceled or delayed, it would seem the 6" Marvel Legends Heroic Age Thor figure which was announced as a SDCC exclusive back in February is still a go. No details have yet been released but thanks to Marvelous News reader SolidSnakeInMyPants, the G4 Network's Attack of the Show ran a promo today promoting the reveal of it next Monday on their show. He managed to get this screen capture from his DVR (Shown below) giving us our first look at the figure.

Talk about cutting it close to the wire on getting the info out being the convention starts on Wednesday. Anyway we should hear more early next week as far as the details. Thanks to Solidsnake for the heads up.

I'm pretty psyched. If the paint apps are really that good, I guess I can forgive the lack of articulation. He really does resemble the Marvel Select 7" figure. I guess we'll see when I have it in hand and compare the two.

Let's hope the legends blow us all out of the water.
