100% agreed. Also, the pink open mouth looks okayfrom the front, but completely bizarre from the side. I'm not sure why they didn't actually sculpt the mouth and just paint it pink inside. It would've had the same effect, but not looked so awkward.

I know this is supposed to be better than the ML version and the standard reaction is supposed to be "Wow, wish the ML version was this good!", but it just isn't. There is nothing, aside from a few articulation points that is better than the ML. The first thing that comes to my mind is, yes it's a much cleaner looking paint and sculpt but I don't think Carnage is supposed to look that "clean", and it's not like they added any shading or extra paint detail. In the end it just looks too cartoony and nothing about it would urge me to spend 5 times the amount on this figure than I did the ML version. The only thing this thing has over the ML version are the added accessories. That is something I wish Hasbro would do more, but at a standard or $20 versus $95 I'll stick with the ML version, and I'll take the ML Cletus head sculpt over this version every day of the week. Nice figure, but way toolate, too pricey and not enough extra to justify the cost.
