Transformed by his exposure to immense levels of gamma radiation, Dr. Bruce Banner soon found his mind and body overcome by a dangerous new force known as the Incredible Hulk! Emerging in periods of great stress or anger, the Hulk is capable of near limitless feats of strength and endurance beyond the dreams of normal humans. With his brilliant mind trapped within the Hulkís monstrous form, Bruce Banner must wage a constant war for control, or risk the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet.
Hulk has a new, HUGE sculpt for this figure. Hulk is about 10 inches tall and is sculpted with massive muscles. The muscles may actually be a little too exaggerated because they make his head look small even though it is in proportion. The detailing is quite good with lots of rippling muscles, veins, and tears in his pants. The dry brushing emphasizes these details, but it is not a very realistic look for the skin. I do like the choice of green though.
The head sculpt doesnít match what I think of the Hulk, but it does resemble the movie appearance. The growl is a little exaggerated though. Some of the joints like the elbows and knees are a little obvious but generally the body is fairly smooth. Overall the Hulk has a very impressive appearance because of his shear size. Stylistically heís not better than other Hulkís though, just different.
Hulk has ball jointed shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. He has a swivel waist and wrists, and pin jointed ankles. His muscles prevent his arms from sitting at his sides. The leg joints and elbows bend less than 90 degrees, so range of motion is a little limited. Balance is good though because of the big feet.
It is hard to do a lot of Hulk poses because of the limited range of motion. He looks great towering over Marvel Legends figures and can do some punching poses. The head looks down easily so he can look at other figures. He looks good on the display shelf, but takes up a lot of room.
Final Judgment: 6
Most of the impressive look of this figure is from the size. This Hulk, while nice, isnít really better than other Hulk figures, just different. Whether or not to get this figure really depends on your stylistic preferences, but he is a good figure to have.
