Movie bosses are reportedly in negotiations to produce a SPIDER-MAN spin-off film - based on the superhero's arch nemesis VENOM.
The villainous character - an evil alien symbiote - appeared in the third installment of the comic book action franchise, 2007's Spider-Man 3, and inhabited the body of the photojournalist played by Topher Grace.
The movie will be in addition to the forthcoming Spider-Man 4 film, which is expected to hit cinemas in 2011, according to Empireonline.com.

I liked how eddie was a huge guy. It made him seem much bigger and better than spiderman. |

I hope they will make it. If they dont screw it up. I hated topher grace as venom. That was not a good choice for venom. |

Exactly, they wanted someone to have the same powers that Peter Parker but without having his moral education... "With Great Power Comes Great Fun" |

Me, too. He was basically not much different than Peter Parker. In fact, I'm sure that's why they picked him, to be a Peter Gone Bad. It's more interesting when a "normal" guy gets superpowers. Having an enormous, bulked-up Eddie Brock like in the comics is boring. |
