Halloween Costume Contest For A Chance To Win Great Prizes Like A Hot Toys 1/6th Iron Monger Figure

Halloween will soon be upon us, so what better time to hold a Marvelous News Marvel Costume Contest for a chance to win some really cool prizes.

To enter the contest, you must have or register for an account on the Marvelous News Message Boards. Post a picture(s) of yourself in a Marvel-based costume on our Halloween Costume Thread which you can find HERE. You have until October 25, 2013 to post your picture(s) which will be considered your entry for the contest. Only one entry per person, and the picture you post must be of yourself in a Marvel-based costume. You can post up to 5 different pictures showing the costume from different angles.

Once we have all the entries, the judges (JayC, Shartimus Prime, Pixel Dan) will select five finalists by October 20, 2013. Influencing the judges is welcome in the form of Facebook and Twitter support from family and friends. They can post on the Marvelous News Facebook or tweet to @MarvelousNews saying they like your entry best.

The 5 Finalists will be announced on Marvelous News on October 28, 2013. Readers will vote on their favorite costume entry by poll October 28-30, 2013. The contestant that receives the most votes will win the grand prize, a MMS164 - Iron Man: 1/6th scale Iron Monger Limited Edition Figure from BigBadToyStore.com.

The contestant in second place will win a 2008 SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends Savage Land Box Set.

The contestant in third place will win a 2012 SDCC Exclusive Marvel Universe Masters of Evil 3-pack.

The winners will be announced on Marvelous News on Halloween, October 31, 2013. We will also send them a PM (Private Message) on our message boards letting them know they won. Good luck to everyone and we can't wait to see your costumes.

Marvelous News Halloween Costume Contest UPDATE: the Entry period for the contest has ended and we have 17 contestant entries.SEE ABOVEThe judges JayC, Pixel Dan and Shartimus Prime are now choosing the top 5 finalists to move on to the next round of the contest which will be announced on 10/28.Remember YOU can try and influence the judges decisions during this time period on who goes on to the next round.Each entry has a ENTRY # listed with their post ABOVE. So have as many of your friends and/or family members show their support for your entry by having them either post on the MarvelousNews Facebook page or tweet to us at @MarvelousNews saying that such and such ENTRY # should win.
