Rumor - New Look For Thor Movie & Toyline From Hasbro?!? UPDATE: More Likely Art For SDCC Exclusive Figure

UPDATE: MN reader Wayne points out that the art shown here look more to be that for Hasbro's upcoming San Diego Comic-Con exclusive 3.75" Marvel Universe "Ages of Thunder" Thor figure and not a design for the upcoming movie. We have added an image for the SDCC figure below to our gallery for you to compare for yourself.

The website FanboyWEB.com is reporting they were sent this artwork via email which was drawn by Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Joe Quesada. In their report they say that Quesada drew this image of Thor for a new Hasbro toyline and that this could possibly be the first look at the costume Thor will be wearing in the upcoming movie.

We are passing this news and image (shown below) for you all to see, but do stress that none of this is confirmed by Marvel or Hasbro, nor do we know the actual source for the image. No doubt Hasbro will have some type of action figure movie tie-in once Thor comes out in May 2011, but that this artwork actually has anything to do with that, remains to be seen at this time.
