the Ares wave sounds great if only for Crossbones, Kang, and Guardian. The new Vision is impressive, but those Hasbro ball-joint hips always kill me (my personal pet peeve).

As long as he is not as small as the Silver Surfer, i am cool.

But dang, ANOTHER Human Torch and ANOTHER Spider-Man??? I love Ben Reilly. but sheesh!!!

And why do we need 7 figures to build a regualr sized fig like Ares? Are the weapons going to be seprate as well?

If it were only 7 figures, but alas, it's 8. The article forgot to list the Ultimate War Machine figure. Yes, his weapons and helmet are separate.

I've said it before. Glad they fixed the Torch and rereleased it. Very glad for the BEn Reilly, and the Kang. The money I save on the Kang figure alone pays for the whole set.

GEEK

i'm disappointed that the ben reilly has painted-on web lines where the one shown at sdcc had sculpted-in ones. i will still probably buy it, though now i daresay it falls short of what i consider the 2nd closest to perfect spidey fig (mcspidey obviously #1).

excited about all of these, except vision and human torch. i repainted my movie 1 torch, which i now like the best, and just recently opened up my vision about 2-3 months ago. the rest seem cool.

I hope that they cut the sculpted web lines so that they can do a simple repaint and some additions to give us a Scarlet Spider variant. Scarlet Spider is the only thing missing from this wave IMO.

Good point....I'd love a Scarlet Spider.....much more so than the Ben Reilly Spider-man.

Well, it was listed with Scarlet Spider on the card so we can all keep hoping.

GEEK
