Hasbro Officially Announces Silk As Their Marvel Legends Fan Poll Winner

Hasbro Officially Announces Silk As Their Marvel Legends Fan Poll Winner

Jay Cochran - September 12, 2020
Back in February Hasbro ran a fan poll asking folks to choose between updated version of Silk, Lady Sif or Elektra to be made into an action figure. Originally the results were said to be revealed during SDCC with the figure being made available there. Of course Comic-Con was canceled and the announcement of the winner was delayed.

Last month we saw the winner leak out overseas and it was Silk. Well now Hasbro has gone on and made the official announcement for the winner and they say the figure will be available for purchase on HasbroPulse later this month. Likely it will go on sale for their Pulse-Con which takes place the week of September 23.

Hasbro says SILK ended up with 57% of the vote for the win. Sif ended up getting 35% and Elektra getting only 8%.

The A-force boxset was on saleand then discounted for so long. Then when Toys R Us went out of business, Dorkside and BBTS sold so many loose characters. I was actually surprised to see her on the list. But Sif is a great character and deserve multiple releases.

No surprises...really hope it won't be any kind of exclusive...else it will be priced almost double when it is sold outside their main seller.

Hopefully it won't be, but I could see it being a Fan-Channel ro worse a Hasbro-Pulse exclusive

Couldn't vote for any of them, but I'm glad Silk won, I wanted a Silk, have Sif and have no interest in Electra. Hopefully I'll be able to get it

Not surprising at all. I voted for Silk, and I'll be happy to finally get her.

I voted Elektra, just cuz I was always partial to the while outfit, but I got the impression that Sif was gonna win it hands down. If only for the fact that both Elektra and Silk were both just repaint of the same old Kate Bishop mold I was thinking (and hearing) that most people just wanted something outta the same old hummdrumm. Guess I was wrong. I'll probably still get this one, though I do have the first one, and it's honestly not that good a figure. Somehow, for some reason, it seemed even more stiff and awkward thanthe KB figure. Maybe it was just because one would expect much better articulation from Spider-Person. Whatever, I do prefer this costume to the old one.
