Hasbro Pulse-Con Marvel Legends Panel Taking Place September 25

UPDATE: We are told the event on Friday and Saturday will be taking place on their YouTube channel. We have also been told that each days activities will go until around 5pm ET.

We still don't have a breakdown of what time each specific panel will take place, so right now I guess you will just have to watch until the panel your interested in comes up. Hopefully Hasbro will release more specific time slots for each panel, though I am sure they hope you just watch the whole thing.

Hasbro has released their panel schedule for next week's Virtual Pulse-Con which takes place on September 25-26.

The Marvel Legends panel is listed for Friday the 25th at 11am ET.

Jesse Falcon, Hasbro Marvel Brand Team

The Hasbro Marvel product experts will discuss some exciting news around Hasbro’s ever popular Marvel LEGENDS action figure line! Viewers will also get a sneak peek of upcoming, never before seen Marvel action figures plus some special surprises as well.

It is not really clear how these panels will be shown. All the panels for Friday are listed with the same time of 11am, but in a press release Hasbro put out they says this.

Attendees can expect one-of-a-kind access to their favorite franchises during Hasbro PulseCon, and interactive experiences connecting fans with the creative talent that help bring them all to life. Brands including Dungeons & Dragons, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Power Rangers, Transformers as well as premiere partner brands Marvel, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and more will be featured in an exhilarating panel and activity lineup that spans two days, giving fans a livestream experience to celebrate with special guests, receive exclusive access to exciting brand reveals, purchase Hasbro PulseCon merch, and participate with interactive elements such as live Q&A, trivia and even virtual ‘ghost hunting’ in celebration of National Ghost Hunting Day! For every viewer of Hasbro PulseCon, Hasbro will donate a toy or game to Toys for Tots up to 100,000 pieces. Through the gift of a new toy, Marine Toys for Tots helps bring hope and joy to America's less fortunate children.

So that suggests some kind of live-stream, but then you would think each panel would have a specific time. Hopefully Hasbro will actually clarify this soon.

One thing I do know is whatever new product is revealed, we will have it covered right here on MarvelousNews for you.

There is also the Sneak-Peek that is set to take place on September 22 at 12pm ET and that is definitely taking place on their YouTube channel.

Finally the Hasbro exclusives which includes the Marvel Legends Hellfire Club Boxset and Logan Movie 2-Pack go up for sale on the HasbroPulse website starting at 12pm ET on Wednesday (Sept 23) for Premium Pulse members and then everyone else will get a shot at them on Thursday (Sept 24) at 12pm ET. The exclusives will be limited to 1 per household.

It's available on Pulse through Sunday for anyone who wants to order it, but only as a preorder for March/April at this point. After that, you'll be stuck with the second-hand market for the foreseeable futute.

Looks like they've opened it for everyone to watch live, not just US and Canada.

Wow someone at Hasbro actually cares for international fans. First not locking the TF Hall of Fame voting to either a social media site or Pulse and now this. Maybe they might do Pulse for other markets next.

If they do restrict it, the only reason I can think of why they would do that is cause of the Toys For Tots thing. They say the are going to donate a certain amount to that organization based on how many viewers they have during the live broadcast, and so I am thinking they don't want to count people outside the US and Canada for that. Again that is only my speculation, but I just can't think of any other reason why they would restrict viewership like that. I am not aware of any laws or regulations that would prevent them from showing this outside the US, not to mention they seem fine with everyone being able to watch it later after its recorded.

Well nothing will ever be as bad as the TFCC when it came to news blocking.

They did, I know cause I got some of it yesterday, shipping in October. It just sold out super fast.

I think overall Hasbro handled the exclusive sales quite well. While it would've been nice to save at least a little bit of the stock on hand for non-premium customers, ultimately its a lot better to let everyone who wants one have the ability to preorder rather than running out in 5-10 minutes and then nobody else can get it except on the aftermarket.

Personally, i'm still mulling over whether to preorder a set or not as i just don't like putting down money for something that i might not get until 6 months later, but that's mainly because there are a lot of other figurescoming out NOW that i could use that money towards instead. Hopefully today's reveals will give me a sense of whether there are a lot of figures coming next year that i would want to budget for, or if they are figures i will skip like the Venompool wave and Strong Guy wave. In the meantime took the money i had specifically set aside for Hellfire and bought the Family Matters 3-pack i've been eyeballing forever as well as retro Kingpin, so i'll still have some great 'new to me' figures to play around.

At this point my main focus is on characters from comics 1960s-1980s, with random additions from 90s/modern with maybe a few novelty figures like Piratepool in the mix. But i always enjoy seeing reveals and even when its a figure i don't want its fun to see how psyched up various fans get about finally getting one of their favorites made.

They might have actually sold out if they accepted PayPal like their checkout window says they do...Something to think about Hasbro!

DrewK - 2020-09-25 @ 2:04 pm

IMO, all these exclusives should just go on pre-order at some point so that everyone who wants a figure/set can get it at a fair price. I don't mind if they do a Con exclusive and reward the people who actually pay money to attend cons to get one first. Then open it up for pre-order for the rest of the folks to get it at a later production date. More money for Hasbro (or any company that chooses this route).Slowly eliminate scalpers once and for all...
