New MCU Infinity Saga 1/12 Iron Man Mark 43 Figure From ThreeZero First Look

New MCU Infinity Saga 1/12 Iron Man Mark 43 Figure From ThreeZero First Look

Jay Cochran - December 18, 2020
Threezero announced back in October that they would be doing Infinity Saga MCU figures. We assumed the first figure in the line would be Iron Man, and it looks like we were right. On display at their WinterFest threezero X Awesomeism pop-up exhibit at The One boutique mall in Tsim Tsa Shui, Hong Kong is their new 1/12 scale Iron Man Mark 43 figure. No other details like when it will be released or go up for pre-order, but hopefully that info will come soon.

Even this figure is out of my price range, it just stuns me how good it looks with the amount of articulation on this size figure. Like just wow.

Shown below are a few images of the Avengers: Infinity Saga - 1/12 scale DLX Iron Man Mark 43 figure from Threezero on display at the WonderFest Winter 2021 virtual event.

It's pretty, I've always liked MK 43. It's also cool that he can  combine with Hulkbuster, they really are making these like mini Hot Toys. Not sure if they're going in order with these, but a MK 45 would be nice too, and of course I'm anxiously awaiting MK 50.

The fact that the figure stands at 6.5 inches alone makes me happy. I mean, I doubt I'm gonna buy it, but import 1/12 figures being in the same scale as Marvel Legends is always good. Plus, who knows what Iron Man suit (or character) is next in the pipeline for them (aside from the confirmed MK 44, I mean. Fingers crossed for the MK 50, or any of the MK 1 to 6 to pick up after Hasbro's slack).

Those "blast" effects look pretty cheap for something that costs around $80. Loving the overall design of this particular Iron Mar armor though.

I'd like to see Iron man armors not done in other formats.Or what about Ultron yeah or armored/robot enemies?

Ironspider428 - 2020-12-19 @ 6:00 am

Called it. Bit interesting that they started with MK 43 though. If they do a MK 50, I'll almost certainly get it. $80 is steep, but less than any of the SHF ones at this point and I've grown to really despise the ML mold for it.

Looks good, though I wonder what's going to be the price point. Taking a quick look at threezero's webpage, their 1/12 figures range around the 80 dollar mark. Whether it's affordable or not, I do hope their 1/12 scaling is comparable to Marvel Legends, kinda like MAFEX as opposed to Figuarts.
