Marvel's Stormbreakers Take To The Stars In New Avengers Homage Covers Starring The Guardians Of The Galaxy

On April 12, Marvel’s band of cosmic super heroes begin an exciting new era in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #1 by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Kev Walker. To celebrate this new run and the 55th anniversary of the title, Marvel’s Stormbreakers Class of 2023 have depicted the team in stunning new variant covers!
Releasing throughout May, these covers depict the Guardians at various moments in their storied history including the original debut, their 2000s reinvention, and more. Over the years, the team has stepped up to become the galaxy’s mightiest heroes, and these covers honor that by featuring their most legendary lineups in homages to iconic Avengers cover!

I like the concept, especially the idea of releasing these as actual postcards. Would love to see Gambit in New Orleans and Spider-man in NYC as well. Probably a lot more places they could do, fictional and real.

This is a really good concept for variant covers. It would be fun if Marvel ended up releasing them as actual postcards to collect. Can't wait to see what Patrick Gleason and Iban Coello do for theirs, they're my favorites of this batch of Stormbreakers.
