Agreed on all fronts! I hope you didn't read anything I was saying as mean or even debatey, I was trying to just say we're all right and wrong cause they've changed him up. (I never know the tone people read my comments with) I actually wonder if he officially changed size during that Terrigen mists crossover thingy that happened a while ago. But we are on the same page here!

absolutely not, no worries, I didn't read it in any tone, other then us exchanging facts in a healthy convo in regard to the fun of marvel characters LoL.

and you may very well be correct in thinking that perhaps during that Inhumans terrigen thingy retcon or whatever at some point, god forbid I don't remember the finer details but I do recall that happening during Marvels heavy insistence on us loving Inhumans again campaign, he may have grown, a bunch of stuff happened then, isn't that when Kamala was announced as being Inhuman?

either way, Gorgon could be super adaptoid big in figure form at this point and I'd still buy it, I'd just make him sit on the shelf

Guess they retconned his height, either way once the this and that all washes away, can we all just go YaY we got a Gorgon figure? I know I am, he's pretty XL, but I guess this is how he's being depicted as of late and that's so totally dandy with me, I mean I'd rather him too big then too small, like Gorgon on the Sunfire Buck...at least we can say that didn't somehow happen, Also agree articulation at the Ankles or shins w/e to give him his signature resting stance would have been a lovely detail, but alas overlooked, much like I've been just constantly shocked they have not tried to give Medusa hair articulation, even bendy wire in places would really be a great addition, I mean it's her powers...geez.

Love that we are revisiting Inhumans and getting Gorgon and Triton finally after so long being overlooked, So now Hasbro must hear the cries for Maximus. I mean I also wouldn't tell them to kick rocks if they gave us Ahura and Unspoken at some later point.

Medusa's pouty face still irks me a bit, but after these photos it doesn't look as bad. Still really eager for this set!

He rests his horse legs with the knees bent to just above his ankles and then pops up to full height when in action. It woulda been nice if that joint right above the ankle was articulated so we could replicate that. I think older stuff showed him smaller, and less massive in the shoulders even, and now they draw him bigger. The database on the website says 6'7" 485lbs, and I'm sure what you saw saying 6'5" wasn't wrong either. It's kinda like Thing. 60s he was pretty short, but if you imagine late 80s-90s he's much bigger. So, I don't think anyone remembering him smaller is "wrong", but I also don't think this is an egregious representation of the character. I'm pretty excited to get him in hand personally. I'm sure this just comes down to which covers/ panels stuck in your minds eye compared to mine. I can picture the old Kirby stuff where he seems just a little bigger than Black Bolt, but I also remember people drawing him really big like this.

I mean I dunno yeah he is depicted as slouching in all media (as far as I know), but this figure does look a wee bit massive(?), according to facts he's supposed to be 6'5'' , he's shorter then Thor, so I mean scale is a bit wack-a-doozle, But I'm not gonna complain, Can we see this figure slouching LOL...

Totally awesome to get Gorgon, and a great Medusa, and you really gotta love the lollipop weapon accessory

Hooray! Looks like Medusa's boot tops got fixed in production. The pointed bits pointed down in the comics (aligning with the vertical stripe), but even the prior in-package shots showed them pointing up. I bet her knees are thankful not to have those sharp points dinging into them!

I wonder why Hasbro made Gorgon so huge. I don't recall Gorgon being that large in the comics compared to the other Inhumans. His scale seems to be far too big.
