they said they will also have a livestream this month like they do every year. No word on when it will be but most likely next week.

Duuude I am 100% with you. Charge me $50 and call the slide a second figure (like phenix) I don't care I'll pay it and buy multiple.

I'm chocked how fast and impossible this guy is to ind. I debated holding out for a deluxe offering, but I did the historical math of how often and likely a variant I'd want in an iceman has been/would be released. I decided now was the time. I ordered 3: one for my X factor display, one for my Gold Team display and one for my main battling sentinels display.

SO glad I didn't hesitate thinking I could get more later. I may eventually replace some or all of the with future ice men, but I just started collecting in February of 2024, so I missed a lot of older options. I do think this is the best, I love the translucent choice and the effects. Part of me thinks (or hopes) this is a stepping stone to a deluxe ice man where the tooling for the effects here is already done.

Dying for an update to a classic colossus (I do not think the new rumored astonishing one will serve my purposes, for which I need 2-3 if I replace the juggernaut 2 pack one- not counting the astonishing one I'll need for that team).

3 New Jim Lee style Archangels (only 2 if missing his Horsemen of Death Head sculpt).

Would also sell an organ for a deluxe nightcrawler with a really well executed BAMF display. I built a really badass one out of hot glue and a smart water bottle (literally it has 2 pounds of sculpted hot glue). And while it's amazing and super accurate to the scale of the figure, it's way out of scale with all the other effects in my display. I am also limited by my ability to paint so it's very one dimensional.

Final big ones I'm holding out for is a '97 Xavier with animated series accurate hover chair. Need like 3 of those, and a proper '97 Sinister. These are two I hear NO ONE talk about or seem to want which probably means I'm cooked like a boiled egg when it comes to these.

I picked up a couple Icemen myself. One for my X-Factor team and one for my Jim Lee X-Men #1 display.

Nightcrawler is my favorite, so I definitely want a deluxe Nightcrawler with a big bamf display. And Jean and Gambit with lots of energy effects.

Im totally with you on wanting Xavier with an animation-accurate hover chair. I much prefer that shape over the rounded one we got.

They tease us with that card art of Iceman with the giant ice slide behind him, but they only give us that tiny old patch of ice again that barely fits both feet.

The ice blast effects are cool, but when do we get a Deluxe/Maximum Bobby with a nice big ice slide?
