Of course, McFarlane hasn't made a Lynda Carter. But Reeve and Keaton's figures are about the same height. Power Princess is just slightly shorter than either the Reeve or Batman figures. (Different line I know) However, it highlights her height in comparison to the Legends line. But for making a custom Wonder Woman? I can fudge it a bit.
Oh I don't even bother with McFarlane, for a host of reasons. Bringing him in is like the old saying, "two wrongs don't make a right".

The Power Princess figure height is a better match (but then again, according to the comics she's around 6'8" which means she should be taller than Cap); at least she doesn't look as out of scale as, sat, Black Widow.
No, it isn't a horrible figure. Neither is the Silver Surfer, Moon Knight, the Falcon or Firelord but then again they also are called out for being too short. Why hasbo can get more or less right and just toss the dice on others, I don't know. But it is what it is, and the errors are what they are.

The "who" is a big issue for these scaling and body type issues, as much as anything else. Captain Marvel, Silver Surfer and Moon Knight have all held down solo series for quite a while. Almost as long and consistantly as characters considered A list. Yet they cheap out or under represent them in figure form. And then with Powere Princess, it was a brand new sculpt right? I'm fine with the figure, but she ain't 6'8". Then we get back to how they are drawn, cause I can't think of a panel where she towers over her team mates That much. I don't love getting too hung up on the handbook size due to this. The body type issue is kinda the same. I didn't mind the earlier Silver Surfer or Firelord. But the reissue of Surfer annoyed me quite a bit. They needed to change that body type. They had a few bodies that would have worked better, and he has Zero add ons to the body!! No excuses there. Listen to the fans! Most places I see, the Sunfire mold is reviled now due to its misuse and overuse. In a lot of cases, I think the Bucky Cap mold holds up better. As far as Carol, great figure, one of my favorites for posing and displaying. Glad we got a new body type, but it is short for a powerhouse and her scaling against actual Avengers teammates.

So make of canon what you will.
To me, Ms. Marvel doesn't stand out as short or out of scale. But you're right, she probably isn't made to be 6 ft in height either.
Thanks for the reminder that we don't have a Marvel Legends figure of Rogue in her green and white cloak. Damn.
Issue with new Carol isn't that she didn't end up exact 5'11 and isn't taller than Spidey, but rather that she is smaller than Shriek base body or deluxe Phoenix, her legs are slightly shorter than Shrieks and her head is also smaller scale than most female Legends.
