EE In-Stock Alert: Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Marvel's Medusa/Gorgon & Black Bolt & Marvel's Triton 2-Packs

Finally, a 6" figure of Triton by hasbo....after nearly 10 years or so after their 3 3/4" Marvel Universe figure came out (2016?) and, if you're wanting to finish the Inhumans Royal Family, this about does it.

Good figure...the re-use of the Captain America pinched /creased boots bothered me a bit, partly because that's not typically how those boots look, and partly because they just look like they would create too much "drag" for a character whose main ability is swimming fast. But they're not technically wrong; many artists did indeed draw him in those boots over the years. I preferred the shaped, smoothed "cuffs" that others (Buscema, Kane, Pollard, Perez) had him in. They seemed better housings for the pumps and filtration unitsthat ran the saline solution thru his circulatory harness. A bit of shading and some paint would have been nice, to show the iridescent scaling he has- after all that's his skin, not a costume-but the main thing they got right, was his dorsal fin. Triton's one of those "B/C -list characters" that's near and dear to my heart, and its great to see him in 6" articulated form at last!

Yes, it ended up working out fine. Cyclops was at least as in demand as Jean. I'm surprised and pleased to make Jean a regular priced figure.

That Cyclops is selling on eBay for between $35-$56 alone. Jean alone is selling for similar. Seems like there is a demand for both.
