Hasbro, McFarlane Toys, Iron Studios CCXP25 Panel This Thursday

by Jay Cochran
December 2, 2025
Look for a combined panel featuring Hasbro, McFarlane Toys and Iron Studios taking place at the CCXP 2025 convention in Brazil this Thursday (12/4) at 17H00 which I believe will be 3pm ET if I have my time zone conversions correct. I'm not expecting a ton of new reveals but according to our sponsor Entertainment Earth there are two Hasbro pre-orders and one McFarlane pre-order slated for 12/5.

Emily, Dwight, Eric and Nate from Hasbro will be attending the panel which means Marvel Legends, Transformers, Star Wars and probably G.I. Joe will be represented. Check back here on Thursday for more details on what is revealed. See the official panel description below.

I'm OK with the character, but this figure does nothing for me. Probably because it's just a straight repaint of a figure that's been repainted already.

I always mind repaints so much, especially if it's a character I'm really excited for, Spider-Man 2099 is a good example.

As much as I appreciate getting a new character, or new iteration of a character, I think I'll be passing on this Red She-Hulk. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's just not a must-have for me personally.

They always cut back on accessories for these releases...and yes I get the licensing rights and what not, but the figure still feels kinda incomplete without the unmasked head for me.

The hands are a bigger deal. I think they intended this to be more of a generic Spider-Man for people to catch up with rather than specifically tied to one actor. That suit is the most comic-y of the movie suits.

Definitely a rights issue thing, that's why the original 3-pack didn't include unmasked heads and why the single card release was branded ASM2. What this figure really should have included is all 6 hands from the 3-pack, it feels incredibly cheap for them not to.

The Raptor/T-Rex head on lizard is awesome. It's what convinced me to get the figure. The other head isn't bad, but I can't imagine using it.

What on earth did they do to her

They reused the sunfire body for starters. I don't mind reuse if they give us new stuff with it. I believe the two heads are all new, as is the chest overlay. She comes with two sets of hands and 2 sais. I believe the Gray She Hulk (which has the same pants this one does) only had one pair of hands and a BAF piece. I much prefer having an alternate head sculpt to a BAF Piece. But yeah I know people are disappointed it's the sunfire body.

Yes, that tail is horrible, retro Lizard tail is much better, Tbh I would have been fine if they reused retro Lizard body with new hands and feet + McFarlane head and soem much needed paint.

Locked in my preorder for Lizard. While I was never a big fan of the BAF, I couldn't resist the new head sculpt. Not sure if this will replace my retro Lizard yet, though.

For folks that have the retro Lizard...I do wonder if the peg/connector is the same. It would be nice if you could use the retro tail on it. Granted the green is a different shade but if a person wanted to repaint it? Might be an option? I think the MCU lizard tail might be a better fit. But it would also likely need a bit of repaint to match the color. I'm sure some industrious 3D modeler will make a tail for it.

Yeah see really Red Shulk would have been lovely on that new She Hulk buck, that was what I had hoped for, but I do like the Modern She Hulk build as well, just not as much of what I would have wanted, does She look good as I have said, YES, I already pre-ordreded her.

Yeah If someone didn't have the Retro Lizard or the BAF (I have both) I would say this new Lizard is pretty rad, of course sadly yes that Tail is absolute dookie in both looks and composition, it's just bad engineering, I actually display my BAF Lizard without it, and just hide the fact he has no tail, I do really like this new Lizard, but I feel like I have no reason to buy it so I'm not, also I do like the BAF more in terms of that head, the Dino stylized head is so awesome and yes the Tongue is so great, the new figures heads are both interesting-ish mainly the Mcfarlane style head the other one I'm not even sure of the source material, and yes it looks like the jaw articulates but I don't see any evidence it does.

The MCU Lizard's tail likely won't plug into this new lizard, I'm just guessing, because both of those torso molds are very different in design, but the MCU Lizard as awful as it is to me, that tail is superior.

this lady going to pass on Lizard, but Red Shulk is a must, still hope we get another version down the road on that new Retro Shulk buck, with her jumpsuit /leotard look, Since she didn't really wear this ripped gear in the comics, yes she did have a ripped outfit, but this is a mish-mash, so they could re-use that old build, the harness on the front of her top is right, but bottom half is wrong..she didn't wear jeans, well I could also stand to be corrected and this is accurate to source material, but I have thoughts it's not.

Yeah she's on that old sunfire body. I love the new retro she hulk figures. The FF one fixed the discolored knees and also gave us a great new head. I like they at least gave us the alternate head for red she hulk. If someone wanted I imagine they could repaint one to be green to use with the green she hulk (make the eyes white?). spacer.png spacer.pngHad another look through the photos. Yup this head does articulate. And it does show his tongue inside. Not as long as the BAF head's tongue. But I think it looks pretty dope. Not sure what the source is either. Though it does look a bit like the recent Lizard art by Steve Prescott that did him for the MTG Spidey set. spacer.pngAlso this maybe? from 2019? spacer.png

PencillerCover Artist spacer.png 20250620_223956.thumb.jpg.3e5d47aa8a5e7c9e033a245df610f49a.jpgThis was the start. Put the overlay on him. Added a soft goods lab coat. Then I picked up a custom 3D Printed head (Image on left) and painted it up. Tongue may need lightened a bit. I then saw reddit user Weird_mushroomsshare his; where he carved the MCU lizard head to fit...Shown below is mine. I thought the eyes were a bit creepy..so I sculpted the inside of his mouth and painted it. I think he removed the tongue. I liked the tongue and kept it. Just need some purple pants for him. spacer.png spacer.png spacer.pngYeah I would love the leotard look for Retro She Hulk. Recently picked up the Omnibus (MSRP $100) on sale at Ollies for $16. spacer.pngThis is the look I kind of always associate with She Hulk.

Upon closer inspection it seems like Lizard's green skin on arms and legs has much darker colors as if they used wash or just a darker shade of plastic, however, both headsculpts look way too bright. Makes me wonder if it's just issue with sample and they will apply wash/darker plastic for the actual release.

I mean I wouldn't have expected it came with those things, this is part of the Marvel Studios re-release subline that is literally just a way to get more mileage out of old MCU figures that cost a lot to tool in the first place because they were 1 and done sculpts, but now they can huck a bare bones figure out there, it's basically Legends answer to the SWBS Archive subline, just the minimum, every figure has been like that so far, this is not a wooptie woo line, it's a can we grab those new comers or stragglers, it's almost a basic line at this point.

Still doesn't seem like enough reason to exclude two already tooled hands but Hasbro gonna Hasbro
