I am awaiting the Secret Wars Wave 2 more than any other rumored figures.

First, I don't understand Magik on a Secret Wars card. Release her somewhere else, don't WASTE a space you could use for an actual Secret Wars character or previous retro figure (Electro, Doc Ock, etc).

Second, Absorbing Man from Secret Wars is normal sized. The Man-bun Hercules figure is 80% there. A new head, new lower legs and BAM! The only thing is, I doubt they could give him the accessories he deserves. Like several interchangeable arms in different materials, a screaming head, etc. But a plain Absorbing Man in a regular release is POSSIBLE, I just don't have faith Hasbro will do him properly.

Third, Falcon is supposed to be the same build as Steve Rogers. Actually about 20 lbs more muscle. If Hasbro were serious, they would use the Capcom Captain America mold for the base body (if they have to have the butterfly shoulders). Since Falcon is mostly a new head and shins, I would've liked them to spend a little to make Redwing like the GI Joe eagle that came with Spiritball-jointed replaceable wings (folded and spread). This teaser image doesn't seem to indicate he can sit on an a shoulder or arm. Maybe he's got a swooshing attachment to peg him into Falcon's back (like the original figure).

Looking forward to this wave reveal. Let's go for Wave 3!!! Plenty more possibilities left.

I'm just hoping beyond hope that they will actually do classic Falcon justice this time around re: correct height. I very much liked the arm/shoulder articulation on the previous figures; he can get into some really nice flight poses. The clunky combat tread boots I could do without, though. Also its disappointing that not only does Redwing appear not to have ANY articulation, he's not "reddish" either (at least judging by that pic). But man, that red and white outfit, the "v" neck, ahhhh that's some good 70s Marvel right there. The Sub-Mariner, Iron Fist, Morbius, Satanaa, Luke Cage, even Captain America (as the first Nomad!) were rockin that look then.

Wonder if Constrictor will have translucent coils like the Marvel Universe figure had....was that REALLY 14 YEARS ago....

I just want an all new Absorbing man. But I really do think if they just put him in this wave as a regular figure it won't be right. Hes way to big to be a 27.99$ at hasbro these days.

While he grows bigger a lot. Not always, especially in the Secret Wars days. He was a pretty normal sized guy. Built and taller but not like deluxe height huge or anything. I actually want one at regular human height to compliment my baf. That Fin Fang Foom baf one is total trash.

Little off topic, but one of those pivotal moments that made me love comics was Wolvie cutting off his, then concrete form, arm in a Battleworld skirmish. He was like," let's see if this works" and held it up to his shoulder and turned back to human form and it attached. But it was excrutiating!!! I just thought he was the biggest bad ass ever!! And it was awesome that they just let Wolvie slice his freakin arm right off. As a little kid, this blew my mind!

I'm curious about Magik as well. They just re-released her.

I'm betting the Spider-Man is going to be a rerelease/slight repaint of the Amazing Friends Spidey from the 3-pack, maybe with a new head. A lot of people have wanted that figure single-packed and undoubtedly it would sell like hotcakes, while also matching well with the Symbiote SW figure.

Also Daredevil will be a repack/repaint of the 3-pack red suit version and Absorbing Man will be on the Hercules mold. Those are my predictions anyway, curious to see how they'll pan out.

All of these will be nice regardless. The Spidey im thinking will be a half classic half symbiote form. Unless they are taking something from the other Secret wars.... Like Stealth Op secret war to join that cap.

Battle damaged Spidey should have been in this wave instead of the MTG wave. Literally shown with a ripped up costume in the series.

When this was initially announced, I wasn't very interested, but after giving it some thought, I think this will make a good keepsake for the family one day. Something for them to always remember their nerdy dad by!
