Some of these new statues are already "in stock" at the McFarlane Store. Which means they qualify for their January offer to get the $60 "black and gold" variant Spider-Man #1 statue for free with a $75 in-stock purchase (using code SPIDER75). Really good deal, and there are a fair number of older statues in stock to use towards the offer as well.

I would love to see a pic of all of the X-Men #1 "figures" arranged in order of the cover. I just can't picture in my head how (if?) they fit together.

McFarlane seems to love the posed static statuettes. I know there is a market for them. I understand with the licensing he couldn't make articulated posable figures. But I was disappointed when he did posed Warcraft/Diablo figures.

spacer.pngThese things were like $30. And the scale is on the small side. Then he did his whole mystery weapon and various rarity stuff. The whole line missed the mark when most warcraft fans (myself included) want the named characters (or our own characters). Not generic mashups of nondescript classes. spacer.pngCompare that to what unlicensed studios are putting out. Fully articulated figures with soft goods/bendy wire capes, and sometimes LED Lighting and tons of accessories. I remember there were these DC Unlimited figures back in the day.... spacer.pngAnyway...I am sure there are Rivals fans who would love these statuettes. Blokees sadly sound too small to scale with Legends. But I think there could be some appeal if the Legends team did Rivals figures. IF they did them justice and properly with all new molds/sculpt because they are more stylized. But yeah I personally think some of the designs in the game just strike me a bit too hyper stylized. But if they are going to make Rivals Legends? The have to hit that stylized look, not just reuse existing parts IMO.
