Outside of the head sculpt, I dont see much of a difference here, or upgrade, etc. over the 2018 one. They didn't even give him pinless legs to go with the pinless arms?? As for that first one, I believe I saw a Vala interview where he said he worked on this before he left hasbo, and the intent was to not mask the bottom of his face. They changed it after he was gone, but I think that was the right move. Because this is how the original Scorpion's mask looked. Odd though it may be. Now for this newer version, they did get the tail right, because back in the day, there was no actualy pointed stinger on the end. Overall though I see no reason for anyone to spend $ on this unless they never got that first one.
I think this version of Scorpion (with the mask open around the eyes) would also work well with the Spider-man '67 comic con box set.

Same. if you make a character that is in his first appearance look, it's an instant buy from me.
Well, I fell for another Max series. In this case, I loved the extras. And I've been a little stingy on the Black costume the last bunch of years. I keep not loving the body on the figure, poseablility. So I do have the Secret Wars one, but I kept him in the package. Just an iconic figure on that card. And since Ive got the squinty eyes from Ai Aipec, its fine. Other than that I have the Toy Biz and the Kraven 2 pack figure, who is extremely skinny and now pretty loose. So, I get the misgivings about Another Black Suit Spidey, but looking at my lineup has me wanting this one. Pretty much everything I've been waiting for with this costume. And the gun, symbiote in a jar, tons of webs ect. has me pretty excited actually. Super cool that this is 5 bucks cheaper than the first Max Spidey. Honestly the only problem with the Max line IS the price. I have liked all of them, even the Hulk. Although Hulk Should have had new arms and legs, no debate from me there. And Max Thor is figure of the year for me, and is gonna be hard to knock off.
Also got the new Scorpion. Had to have that first appearance look. Those are always on my needs list for any character I like.
I have the anniversary doom from the Secret wars 2 pack. He's my Doom Bot. It's just not Doom to me without the cape/tunic. What I really want to see is a Doomsday Doom. That look in the trailer? Freaking

Dang, I forgot about Boomerang. I was really hoping to completely avoid Walmart's offerings this go-round, but he's essential.
