Ive been meaning to try removing the black paint for a while, and seeing how good this new Psylocke looks without it is making me eager to try it again. I dont have any real experience with customizing.

Scareglow covered most of it. Nail polish remover will only remove paint. It won't change the color of underlying plastic. It works great on tattoos, cel shading, damage, and paint slop.

Use a q-tip.

Also buy powerful nail polish remover. This is a mistake I made the first time. Get the 99% (pic attached), not the 75%. 75% will make it seem like it's taking forever. If it's working, the paint will come right off with almost no effort.

I can only speak for my self in regards to this, I do not dilute the remover, I just put a bit on a cotton pad or q-tip, obviously don't over saturate, you don't need it dripping, Nail Polish remover can be powerful stuff, I think you could use about any kind, I think most are formulated the same,

it really only works on things that are a solid color, with a paint over it, like the Tattoos, but it won't remove color from a solid molded piece, it might faded out some color, I would imagine Psylocke's hair won't work because it's a molded in color piece, it's not a layer of paint, it's not going to remove it, I've always taken the same approach I would for removing color from nails, if it's a coat over top of another, granted if it's painted it will remove all the paint even what's underneath, so take caution.

I mean I can't imagine any of you paint you nails LOL so you don't really fuss around with that stuff regularly.

I suggest if you are unfamiliar with Nail polish remover try on a figure you don't care about first obviously

I doubt I can get $30+15% (ebay fees) for that Wolverine. But if this set lasts until the huge markdowns around Christmas, I might get it for Psylocke and roll the dice maybe.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, the effort to remove the scar/whatever would probably a nussiance and it likely be cumbersome, but I mean who knows really, depends on how much you want to put in, I also doubt there will be much recoup on Wolvie, I mean unless this set turns out to be hard to get in the end, who knows, but likey not, I'm not holding out hope I will get much for Wolvie, but I'll probably just put him in my Store Inventory in the end.

I myself like the Crimson Dawn scar going on, paired with the pink suit it makes it a significantly different Psylocke then any I have, so that justifys my purchase, because I am also concerned about having to sell off Wolverine, but I also might keep him I kinda like the whole green thing going on, it's just the whole sculpt I don't love since they made MvC Wolvierine so much bigger then he should be.

As a fan of Crimson Dawn and that story I went for it because the Action Figure Illness is real. Her accessories are a little wierd with that wrong colored Logan she comes with in her box.
