Hope the Spot isn't the big bad, I prefer the Spot to be a loser than some all power villain

Interdimensional Travel? Spot the teleporting villain. Makes sense.

Spider-Verse figure hitting too early would be least problematic for Hasbro compared to Eternals and other movie based waves since it's 1) Spider-Man 2) They look very cartoony therefore way more appealing to kids 3) It's already established sub-brand

This will also throw Hasbro's schedule out of whack. They had a wave planned out for it.

They could just hold the wave back, like they are doing with the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts studio series figures. Besides we still have three waves not released yet

I guess they couldn't finish the animation in time that would look as good and as exciting as the first movie did.

That would be my guess. We've all seen movies, shows, and games where the animation/effects had been rushed, and it's disappointing as hell. Waiting an extra six months sucks, but if they need the time to get things right, I'm fine with that.

I guess they couldn't finish the animation in time that would look as good and as exciting as the first movie did. Either way, it sucks. Also, it could be due to Spider-Man fatigue, I even wouldn't be surprised if Sony planned an extended cut of the No Way Home for the summer, I'm saying this due to the 4k Blu-ray home release having almost no deleted scenes as extras, which does make it very suspicious.

Why is it getting pushed to 2023? what's up with that wonder why Oct 2022 wasn't a good date for it's release anymore?

it's not like theatres are closed or going to be. seems strange.
