According to
Deadline, Marvel Studios has enlisted Paul Walter Hauser to join the cast of The Fantastic Four.
The details of Hauser's involvement in the superhero film are being kept secret, including the plot. As previously mentioned, the main cast of the movie consists of Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (also known as Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (also known as the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (also known as the Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (also known as the Thing). Julia Garner has recently joined the cast to portray Shalla-Bal, a character based on Silver Surfer.
Matt Shakman is set to helm the upcoming film from a script written by a team consisting of Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer, and Peter Cameron.
The Fantastic Four is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025.

No no don't get me wrong. He's a great actor. I just immediately got that feeling they were doing another strange provocative casting. Like maybe casting him as Doom or Galactus. Not that he can't pull it out talent wise but it would be nice to go back to casting actors that look the role as well. But as Mole Man I can see it. It just seems like everything they are doing for this movie so far is just trying to incite criticism so they have a preinstalled excuse if the movie fails.
I love these speculations, people always thinking it someone big and in reality it's often just a side character, I remember how crazy Spider-Man homecoming casting predictions were, ranging from Gwen, Miles and even Female version of Jonah Jameson but actors were just secondary characters with one or two lines worth of roles.

I hope so, that actually sounds like a good role for Paul Walter Hauser, I actually really like him as an actor, he plays a good weird character.
