During her appearance at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina, Rosario Dawson discussed her return as Claire Temple from Daredevil in Spider-Man: Brand New Day; however, her cameo was ultimately removed from the film.
“Well … I’m going to have to say: I could have said Spider-Man,” Dawson said after a fan asked what character she would like her Daredevil character to work with. “I even shot a scene in the new Spider-Man movie. But I got cut out.” “I know. I told my mom, and she was like, ‘That sucks. Now I can’t post the [behind-the-scenes] pictures [on social media].’ And I was like, ‘Right, Mom. Me being cut out of the movie that has, like, the largest viewership of a trailer ever; the issue is you can’t post your BTS photos.”
The actress has portrayed Claire Temple in various Marvel series, including Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.
