Unauthorized footage from the third chapter of the animated film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, featuring Miles Morales, has surfaced on social media. In response, Co-writer Chris Miller expressed his thoughts on X:

“Not a fan of unfinished, not fully rendered footage”

A comparable incident occurred with Paramount when a complete version of The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender was leaked online after a fan uploaded it. This fan appeared discontent with Paramount's decision to forgo a theatrical release in favor of a streaming release. Following the leak, Paramount conducted an investigation and apprehended an individual in Singapore who had unlawfully accessed the film. If convicted, the suspect may face a prison sentence of up to seven years, a fine of up to $50,000, or both.
