New X-Men Movie And Cast Announced At D23

Casting seems fine.

Reminds me that I had no idea who Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were, and had very little to no knowledge of Chris Evans and Sebastion Stan.. and these cats all did alright...

Oh.. also was not a fan of Downey at all at the time of his casting.. so it goes to show if the writing is good and the actor brings it, opinions can be changed..

I was hoping for more of a 616 Year One thing, but I figured that was just wishful thinking.

I've been railing on about Marvel using young relatively unknown actors for these characters. So, I'm happy. Superheroes aren't supposed to be guys the same age or older than me. Plus imagine what they'll actually be able to put into effects when they aren't spending like 200 million on a few actors. I'm going to see the X Men not any particular actor.

Aside from Driver, Im only familiar with Inde. But I will say that her performance in Obsession was INCREDIBLE. Like absolutely unforgettable.

Literally the only thing that makes me pause is that shes about 4 1/2 ft tall lol. But so is RDJ and they make that work.

Right. Sorry. Lots of stories that she had been rumored for Mystique. Still had that on the brain somehow even after the announcement. Excited for her inclusion either way.

Maya Boyd seems as though from what I gather a fairly new actress and hasn't been in anything, but hey cool.

Obivously love the choice of Samara playing Emma, she's very good.

Christopher Abbot I am familiar with from recently Wolfman and Poor Things, but remember him from Girls and It comes At Night, I mean I guess ya he was also in Kraven. He's a very good actor and I actually like this casting as Xavier.

Sadie, Love Sadie, Still don't know what shes like as Jean Gray, but I'm still bummed out that Got spoiled so quickly, since I have yet to see the New Spider-Man, but I hate that it was literally the day the movie released the internet just spoiled her character surprise instantly, although we all thought that was who she was.

Indie is rogue.

I love the Indie casting. I haven't seen Obsession and really have no desire to, but I really enjoyed her as Lana Lang's daughter in Superman and Lois. She shined in a role that should have been mostly an afterthought supporting role.

Otherwise, I'm fairly "meh" on all of these. The only one that I know nothing about is the Storm actress. No one is likely to eclipse Halle Berry in that role to me. Honestly the same for James Marsden as Cyclops or Nichalous Hoult as Beast.

Disappointed in no Dafne Keen.
