Cody Rhodes is fueling speculation that his next career move could take him from the WWE ring to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The WWE star recently shared a photo from inside Marvel Studios’ offices in Burbank, CA, on his
Instagram Story, prompting fans to wonder what brought The American Nightmare to the home of the MCU.
Rhodes did not provide any context for the visit, and there is no confirmation that he has been cast in an upcoming Marvel project. For now, any connection between Rhodes and Marvel remains strictly speculative. Still, the possibility is not entirely out of left field.
Rhodes has been open about his ambitions beyond professional wrestling, including his interest in acting and comic book roles. He previously said that his decision to move to Los Angeles was partly motivated by his acting aspirations.
During an appearance on Logan Paul’s
Impaulsive podcast, Rhodes was asked which X-Men character he would want to play. A longtime fan of the franchise, Rhodes responded favorably when Cable was floated as a possibility.
Whether the Marvel Studios visit was related to a potential acting opportunity remains unknown. But with Rhodes already established as one of WWE’s biggest stars, a move into the superhero world would certainly be a headline-making next chapter.
Hey I mean he could do Sabretooth
but really he could potentially be a decent MCU Eddie Brock, He's kinda got the look.
either way let's see how he does as Guile in the Street Fighter movie before we get ahead of ourselves LOL
I think they're trying to go younger with the X-Men characters, so I don't see him being involved in that. If they didn't already have a Danny Rand, I would have said that. With his luck, it will be a minor role that's later cut like what happened to Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
