The cast and executive producers of Marvel's Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D. took the stage in Hall H at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, not even hours after it was announced the show would be ending after its seventh season.
“This has been an incredible journey,” Clark Gregg told Hall H and that he was
“very moved.”
Marvel Television Jeph Loeb talked about all the seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D. offered thanks to the fans and more.
“The people behind the cameras also contribute so much, it blows my mind,” emotionally noted Ming-Na Wen.
Attending the panel besides Besides Wen, Gregg, and Loeb, S.H.I.E.L.D. cast mates, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Henry Simmons, Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Jeff Ward. Executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeff Bell and Jed Whedon were also in attendance. The audience sang Jed Whedon a rendition of Happy Birthday.
After the birthday chorus from the audience, Whedon announced that the show was shooting its last episode
“right now!” A remark that prompted Gregg to joke
“the dragons looks amazing,” in reference to the now concluded Game of Thrones – which has its own Hall H reunion panel tomorrow.
