During "The Joss Whedon Experience" Panel at which took place today at the San Diego Comic Con, actor Nathan Fillion crashed the panel where Whedon who is directing Marvel's big blockbuster event for 2012, "The Avengers" asked Fillion if he would be Ant-Man for the movie.

We first told you Nathan was going to be Ant-Man several months ago,

"Nathan Fillion is pretty much locked to be Henry Pym, and should be announced before any other new additions to the cast (think around Comic Con)"

Look for a more official announcement on this along with other cast announcements for "The Avengers" tomorrow during the big Marvel "Thor" & "Captain America: The First Avenger" panel that will be held in Hall H. Mark Ruffalo is also expect to be named as Edward Norton's replacement as Hulk/Bruce Banner. We also hear Robert Downey Jr. might be making an appearance during tomorrow's panel for the first photo op of all the Avengers together.
