Could Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye Be Heading For ABC's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Jay Cochran - December 19, 2014
A recent post to Facebook made by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s own Clark Gregg has people wondering if Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) from Marvel's Avengers movies will soon be making a guest appearance on the ABC TV series.

The post is of an image from a recent issue of the Secret Avengers comic book by Marvel depicting Agent Coulson squaring off against Hawkeye. While this image certainly doesn't confirm anything, the Marvel TV series has generally had some kind of tie-in with all the Marvel Cinematic movies as they get close to release. Last season the show had a pretty significant tie-in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and with Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters next May, you can bet the TV show will have some kind of tie-in with that. Lets also not forget that the character of Mockingbird (Adrianne Palicki) has a reoccurring role on S.H.I.E.L.D., who in the comics at one time was the wife of Hawkeye.
