This falls right into line with all the other dubious Spider-Man adjacent projects Sony has announced. Take a character with close ties to Spidey, then remove all elements of Spidey and ask fans to be excited by the news .

This sounds like they're milking a pretty dry cow here. I don't think Spider-Man Noir has very much recognition in any media at all.Spider-Man, sure, has loads of consumer recog himself, but Noir--I think he's a much harder sell. It's like trying to tell us that Halle Berry was Catwoman--and THAT kinda fizzled....

I would love to see a Live Action Noir series.................just not from Sony. It may have worked better as a D+ series.

Honestly, I'm not mad about this one, even with it not being Peter, given Noirverse Peter is different than 616 Peter anyway. This is the direction I'd be ok with Sony going, give us alternate Spider-Man movies and shows, there are countless Spider-Verse characters to choose from, hell give us a Spider-Ham movie. Just for the love of god stop doing movies about Spider-Man villains without Spider-Man in them.
