Wonder Man Season 2 No Longer Moving Forward at Disney+

I'm hoping this means Daniel Destin Creton is being pulled to do a fast tracked Shang Chi 2 or some other bigger project. Fingers crossed for a Rampaging Hulk movie. BND is amazing and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could handle any MCU project they give him.

I think this has more to do with what Fiege was say about quality over quantity. Since endgame it has been a non stop stream of random hero movies and TV series. Every thing was approved regardless on how popular they were. Hell we got a show about Agatha Harkness more because of that meme then the actual character. So it think they want to streamline the MCU more. I would expect visionquest to be the last TV show for a while, beyond the daredevil side revamps.

Why would they have announced a season 2 like a few months ago? to now saying cancelled? like huh? I'm confused, also this is a big let down, this show was great, refreshing and I was really excited to see what could transpire in season 2... crazy enough this was probably the first show in the D+ bag that I actually was really happy and looking forward to a season 2, they just scratched the surface on this story, Hey at least please put Wonder Man in greater MCU, don't Moon Knight this guy..such a good character with so much to build off.

It was truly unique and diverse, yet deeply woven into MCU lore. The project had artistic merit and a clear vision, knowing exactly what it wanted to be unlike 90 percent of current MCU content. While I was happy we didn't get generic good vs bad guy showdown, I suspect that for the average MCU audience, it was perhaps too far out of left field.

I would imagine things changed considering it looks like Marvel is going to be more selective about what they do. Even as a success, they may be asking where they see it going.

I didn't think much of the first season. It was entertaining but the foreshadowing for season 2 looked like it was going to get much more interesting.

Yes. This is very disappointing news. Unless they pull a moonknight 4 yrs from now... the ridiculousness of Marvel Studios. I could've sworn they were reporting the show as a success.

I'm disappointed there won't be a season 2. I thought the first season was surprisingly entertaining.
