The following contains highlights from the 20th Century Fox Panel which includes The Wolverine and X-Men: Days Of Future Past

The Wolverine!

Director James Mangold has taken the stage and explains that the movie is a "tough guy" movie.

He feels setting the film in Japan lets him change the tone and action is more intense and physical than the previous X-films, he says.

He thinks Hugh Jackman is as iconic an actor as Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery.

A new clip is shown...

Some ninjas confront Logan in the snow. One says, "You must surrender with respect."
"Go fuckk yourself, pretty boy," Logan snarls.
We see Logan chuck a guy out a window. He lands safely in a pool and is asked, "How did you know there was a pool out there?"
"I didn't," he shoots back.
There's also a great shot of Logan getting stabbed through the heart with a sword.
He's asked, "What kind of monster are you?"
He says, "The Wolverine," and stabs the guy through the neck with his claws. He pulls the sword from his chest in an amazing shilouette shot.

Hugh Jackman has taken the stage!

Jackman promises that fans will finally see the berserker rage in full.

Mangold is talking about how important it was to set the film after all the other movies so that Logan has lost everything.

The blades themselves were redesigned to look more like the Claremont/Miller arc.

Mangold felt the claws in previous films cut only one way. These claws cut ever possible way.

Jackman says that, when he has the claws on, he feels like the robot from Lost in Space.

Jackman mentioned about almost injuring a Mystique double.

Jackman says Wolverine is the greatest role out there and he's not ever going to let it go easily.

Jackman also has a special announcement and it's concerning the next movie he is working on.

Director Bryan Singer has taken the stage.

Singer announced he has something to show that is in 3D but all the visual effects are not complete and they still have a month of shooting to go.
