Personally I don't like the hair sculpt. Everytime I see it it just screams to me Karg from the '80s Masters of the Universe movie....
On the plus side, they didn't go crazy with the cel shading, so on that count this figure probably will fit in with the "comic" versions of the animated team pretty well. But yeah they kind of blew it with the "normal" head (the evil head looks ok i guess), which is kind of the whole point of this figure. Oh well
It's not bad but I think they did a subpar job with the new hair sculpt, which was the only new thing about this figure, box art perfectly shows what her hair should have been, way more dynamic instead of this very weird-looking static wig which looks campy almost like from the RuPaul show.
Not seeing any value or justification for this double dipping here. Doesn't hit my nostalgic chord either.
Thank god they got the eye colour right! I was just in London and wish I toy hunted. These probably weren't in stores though (Pulse exclusives and all).
Looking forward to getting her. I already got a notification for Wolverine from Pulse of them about to charge my CC.
Yeah, the head is nice but nothing I'm doing to double dip for.
So Far I think this is the best offering from the whole Cell-Shaded VHS animated Line, this does the best job of working with the Pseudo cell shading thing, I can't deny that the new Hair Sculpt is really nice here as well same with the updated face, and actual powered down eyes, I do like this figure, but I don't think I'd be replacing my Retro Storm for it, but they did a good job here, but this one doesn't seem to easy to fit into a regular display unlike say Jubilee who only has some very subtle cell shade deco going on.
