When they first released the Scorpion in that Molten Man wave I was a bit let down, because I felt I wanted more this version, but I very quickly changed my mind, and still seeing this figure I'm happy with the previous one, not say this isn't a fine enough repaint, it's just too bright and way too cartoon influenced for my liking.
Colorwise this is better than the previous version, but otherwise it's as big a POS as the last one. They did "fix" the head sculpt, but they did absolutely nothing else but a fresh paint job. I hesitate to use the term repaint anymore as sometimes people get tied up in the minutia of the term, but it is more or less the same figure with "different" paint. The figure is too small, end of story, and it could have been fixed and should have been fixed. Mac Gargan is 6'2. That's the Reaper buck territory, or even Spider UK buck at the very least. Maybe it's a minor detail to some, but it is an obvious detail and it's very easy to confirm. I know it was a specific buck made for Scorpion, but it's wrong and possibly quite easy to adjust just by lengthening the legs if not the torso. Of course, it is Hasbro, so Hasbro gonna do what Hasbro does, so it's not like any of this is a big surprise. I did buy it quite literally only for the new paint deco, but had there been any better option for this character I would not have.
