Hmmm...... I have the new figure, but I've not opened it. I was leaning towards returning it for much the same reasons as been described already in that it's not thaaaaat different from the WG version. But man...seing them side by side in the video this latest vid, and seeing those dreadful warped spindly legs and the bulkier shoulders....yeah, I'm keeping her and leaning towards updating all my fav Marvel ladies as they get rehashed. I'm well-pleased 80s Black Widow is getting updated, so now all I'd really need to see updated is red suit Elektra! Oh....and classic Spider Woman...and Thundra, Scarlet Witch, Hellcat, Valkyrie (that's just off the top of my head).

Wish you the best if you go that route. I may have to heat up the Max Deadpool. His shoulders are a bit stiff. But he's not as gummy as Battle Damaged Spidey. I don't have too many figures with pinned joints myself as I started collecting more recently. But there are a few. I just wish Hasbro would update its female figures with the improved buck. Even that MJ Iron Spider has that same old female "Shriek" body.

Oh I have thought about that boil and reshape fix, I keep on thinking about how massive of an undertaking that might be, since there is a lottt of figures that have suffered this fate, and I'd have to deconstruct a very carefully set up display...but it might have to boil down to that (pun intended)

Slight upgrades hardly justify the increased price. The butterscotch weapons on the previous looked weird, so its good they went with black this time. The molded gloves look better than just painting on, but not going with a soft goods "dress", and lack of ab movement, AGAIN, just make this a hard pass. Good review!
