Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2099 (Retro Carded Wave 2025) Figure Video Review And Images

This is easily my most wanted figure in the last 2 years; it's an example of smart reuse. Sometimes changing just one part of the figure can make it seem like a brand new sculpt. RYV wasn't a bad mold, but the chest was somewhat narrow and sunken-in shoulders made it even worse.

These new beefy shoulders and arms do tremendous heavy lifting in salvaging this body; now it looks like an actual superhero.However, as much as I like the extra vein sculpt on his shoulders, it limits reusability. Fingers crossed, they have or will sculpt basic arms with these same proportions; in that case, they can reuse that body for thousands of heroes.

Looking forward to this one. I still need to get Superior and Scarlet Spider at some point...

Finally Finally Spidey 2099 get's the right buck, I made due with the previous figure but I always deep down hated it, because it was just such a lackluster effort, the Buck was so wrong, and it seemed like nobody paid any attention to the source material, they just said, use that one spider-man build...blah, and it turned out all types of ug, Miguel was never a scrawny little kid, he was always depicted as bigger and buffer then 616 spidey, Now after all of this time a really amazing character and popular to boot get's a beautiful figure, I'm so happy to chuck that old scrawny thing into a bag and fling it, this figure hits the buttons and it's probably one of the most deserving of an update figures in a long time, now next up is Lasher, I need a lasher on an appropriate buck, this update should have happened years ago, and that retro 2099 should have just not happened.

This one's got to be one of my most anticipated figures of the year. Always been a big fan of this character's design, and while the pizza-Spidey served me well for many years, this is a welcome upgrade!

Definite upgrade!
