In actuality I think this is the best "regular" Archangel yet, obviously the tech has improved since the last one, it's cartoon but so easily could be in a comic display, the pinless'ness, everything over all is sleeker and the articulation cuts cleaner, I almost want this just because of how much of a visual improvement it is, but truth is the one I have..which is that deluxe, is still good enough, I mean from where he's displayed..I see no real problem, Obviously this is better, but I should probably just save my money, It's not sooo much better I think I need to update (or is it? eek)

This is a clear improvement overall, the color scheme is perfect, and the head sculpts appear accurate to the upcoming season, though I would have preferred different options, or at least repainted versions of the X-Force head sculpts.

More broadly, this color scheme does make the body look somewhat plain. One could argue this is a necessary design choice, but back in 2013, they managed to fit those enormous wings on Archangel onto a single standard peg using a Bucky Cap body, so something similar should certainly be achievable here.

Using the body from the recent Spider-Man 2099 figure, would provide much needed range of motion for dynamic flying poses.
